Summer Printmaking Workshops for All Levels

 These august and September summer printmaking workshops are the perfect way to start your printmaking journey. You can choose from stone lithography, screen printing, cyanotype, etching and relief printing, or try them all. Pick a day or several  days that you wish to attend in the order box.(they do not need to be consecutive days ).

Teaching 

There are 2 teaching blocks in August and September , it could not be more flexible to suit your needs. These workshops will be led by master printmaker James Hill, who has over 30 years of printmaking experience . James has extensive knowledge of the printmaking topics from which you can choose. first of all He will help you select the right printing process for your project. looking at your sketch book or what has piqued your interest. as a result there are no limits to what you can do with your inspiration. If you’re feeling confident, we can combine techniques to create a multimedia print! 

About the course

These summer printmaking workshops will be the perfect opportunity to explore printmaking. This course ranges from the novices to practicing printmakers. We are happy to help  if you need a bit of professional advice on a printmaking project. step-by-step instructions will be provided showing how to make a start on your printmaking project. You will be introduced to the right printmaking practices, the use of printmaking materials, how to handle and use the equipment in our studio. It is a chance to gain a unique understanding on how printmaking processes work. The Printmaking workshops is a great opportunity for understanding good studio practice. This will enable you to take advantage of Open Access opportunities that are offered at St Barnabas Press and open access studios around Britain and the world.
